i went back to the gym today
falling back into stride with my normal pace. i still couldn’t manage to push myself as much as i originally managed to daily, but i am doing better.
my fingers are getting skinny. weird!
i went to the gym earlier
i typically burn at least 500 calories in a visit and run the treadmill for 20-30 minutes and elliptical for 20-30 minutes.
i was on the treadmill for ten minutes, and i had to just leave because my ankles were hurting too badly to continue working out.
i’m so terribly disappointed in myself

One morning you didn’t just wake up fat, did you? No. So don’t expect just to wake up one morning and be skinny. Did you gain that weight all at once? No. It was a gradual process. So don’t expect to drop 20lbs in a day. Did you see yourself get bigger after just one pizza? No. So don’t expect to be skinny from eating less for a day or two. This will take time and effort, and yes it will be hard at times, but nobody said it would be easy, they said it would be worth it.

I REACHED MY FIRST WEIGHT GOAL YAAY
I went into the locker room at the gym today and I noticed that there was one of those tall, fancy weight scales that doctors use.
I jumped on.
Assuming those are usually accurate, I think I’m allowed to say “yay.”
Yay!
